Description
pretending that it works is always easier than
admitting it never actually does.
maybe for a moment, just one moment,
it will ease the pain
but what happens when that moment has passed?
now you've made it worse,
tore into a wound you can't simply let heal.
i've seen your scars, baby,
and i just want you to see that it isn't worth it,
it was never worth it.
don't let your demons win.
you have wings that will carry you far...
now you've just got to learn to fly.
Poem written by me,
dedicated to my little sister
. c o m m e n t s .
Another manip! This one more personal
than most... I won't go into many details,
because I want to respect my sister
and her privacy, but there have been
some family issues and things going on,
and my sister has been struggling with
depression, anxiety, and cutting.
I created this for her and ONLY her,
and all I want is to see her get better.
I know I'm not the big sister I should be
most of the time, but I did do this for her
and when I showed it to her she was
happy, so I'm very glad.

This is a picture of a young foal who
has been through troubled, difficult times
(hence the crappily done scars/wounds
on the hind leg) but has survived despite
them and will rise to spread her wings
and fly like she was always destined to do.
